Jason Does Atlanta, Part 2

It's impossible to escape the presence of Martin Luther King in Atlanta. This is the statue at the Interdenominational Chapel on the campus of his alma mater, Morehouse.

And speaking of Morehouse, how many colleges can a city have within walking distance of each other? I thought Pittsburgh was bad with the whole Pitt-Carnegie Mellon-Carlow-Chatham conglomeration, but Atlanta's not playin'.

But back to Dr. King. I think this pic pretty much speaks for itself. Free at last indeed.

Jason Does Atlanta, Pt. 1

This was from a statue in the back of the Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum & Library. It was about the rampant blindness in some areas of Africa that comes through drinking water, and how the blind will literally lead the blind.

This picture was taken at the Martin Luther King Center. It's a sampling of many of the segregation laws that were in place in various southern states pre-Civil Rights Movement.

This was a big ole fish I encountered while at the spacious Georgia Aquarium. I happened to snap the picture while he was blinking.
